Anderson Custom Homes in Sequim and Port Angeles
A Port Angeles Craftsman
Their home was completed on schedule and at the guaranteed contract price. Kirk says one of the great things about working with Rick Anderson is that his word is his bond, and he does what he says he will do.
Kirk says, "We liked that we could make changes to the house plans, and we could choose the material we wanted, from least expensive to most expensive. It was totally up to us, and Rick built it the way we wanted."
From the kitchen sink Maureen can see a gorgeous water view through the living room window, and if she turns around she has a view of the mountains to the
Kirk explained that they were able to include upgrades to their house plan at low cost because as a large builder Rick Anderson is able get quantity discounts that he passes on to customers.
If comfort is important, this is it. Kirk and Maureen are clearly comfortable, and "we enjoy entertaining friends."
Thank you Kirk and Maureen for this wonderful tour of your dream home.

A Sequim Ranch
Doug and Barbara sold their home in Prescott, Arizona, and moved to Sequim to build their retirement home on property Barbara purchased 20 years ago.
What sold them on Anderson Homes? Barbara says, "It was the floor plans. We looked at other plans, but we really liked the plans Rick had. I fell in love with this floor plan."
As Barbara bounces through the house on the grand tour, she enthusiastically points out the quality workmanship and her favorite features, like . . .
The inset ceiling lighting. Imagine having a home built with features that give it a unique but rich look while at the same time being "home."
Of course, it does help to have beautiful antique furniture with a woman's touch, and this home has it.

One of the signatures of fine Anderson Homes is the abundant natural light, the result of well designed large windows and perfectly placed skylights. You can see the result from this photo to the left of the living room.
Another feature of this home is recessed lighting, like these lights in the kitchen. The kitchen . . . one of the most important rooms in the home. Barbara wanted bright yellow walls in her kitchen, and she got them. The custom cabinets and high grade appliances make this a play room, not a kitchen. Okay, it's a play room for adults.

Doug and Barbara's den is like a picture from a Home & Garden Magazine. Well, every room in this home is. The den has a bay window to die for, a rich inset ceiling light, and hardwood flooring.
Does it get any better than this?
Don't try to buy this house. Doug and Barbara love it, and they promised they would never move. If you had a custom home that was exactly what you wanted down to the finest detail, would you?

"We really appreciated the fact that our home was finished on schedule and for the contract price. We love our home."
Barbara has a reading nook in the master bedroom, one of her favorite features. Just another extra touch of class in a home of their dreams.
What's your dream?
Thank you Doug and Barbara for this grand tour and your kind words.

A Port Angeles Custom Ranch
What do Dan and Patty think of their custom home? "We love it so much." They didn't move to Port Angeles from anywhere. They already lived here, but they lived in an older home surrounded by trees. When you walk into Dan and Patty's home, the very first thing to capture your eyes is this scenic view of the mountains through a wall of huge picture windows with deep window sills.
While photos give you a vignette, these photos don't do this home justice.
Was their home completed on schedule and at the guaranteed price? The answer is a resounding yes.

Patty explained one of the greatest features of this house. "The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room, so when my boys visit, I can be part of the conversation."
There isn't any wasted space in this house, and the kitchen cabinets are designed with functionality and beauty.

Imagine a laundry room so gorgeous it could be a spare bedroom? Well, almost. As you can see in this photo to the left, this is a laundry room you would not dread. (Remember that old washer and dryer in the dark basement?) Finished in bright colors, a sink with plenty of counter space and cabinets, this labor intensive room seems to say, "Welcome."
Dan retired from the Port Angeles Mill and Patty retired from teaching 4th and 5th graders. This is their retirement home. No, it's more than that: it's their dream home!
Another signature of Anderson Homes quality is the deep bath tub surrounded by custom windows and a setting that just makes you want to relax and soak now.And what does this home look like from the outside? Here's a shot of this home when it was completed. Yes, Port Angeles does get snow up high. Check out the mountain view.

Anyone else want a dream home and a piece of heaven?
Dan and Patty have it, and they sing the praises of Anderson Homes and their crew. "At the end of every day during construction, the house was swept clean, and the construction site was clean. It was impressive. We're thankful for Rick Anderson and his personal attention to details as our home was built.
Thank you Dan and Patty for this grand tour of your dream home. We're jealous, but happy for you.

A Letter From A Happy Client
Dear Rick,
Thank you for building our dream home! You and your building team were very professional and courteous. Building our home posed many challenges, especially the unusual lot and the complex building plan. In addition, there were budget considerations, which you met while offering us choices in construction materials.
The true test of a good contractor is their ability to effectively solve problems as they come up. Every job has its surprises or glitches, whether they involve the site, weather, materials, or difficult people. We really appreciated your personal attention to our house and above all, your ability to keep the project on time and within budget while providing a quality product.
Mary and I are very proud of our new home. Each morning we are so grateful for what we have and for selecting Anderson Homes as our builder. Please give our best regards to all of your team.
Sincerely,
Ross and Mary
